Who Are Field and Flower?

Founders Matt and James met at Agricultural college and the story behind Field and Flower started in 2011 when they bought a single cow. Now, they send their food with a traceable report so customers can trust where it has been sourced.

They have been supporting British agriculture by using free-range farmers and fishermen. The quality of the meat has caught the eye and seen them win a variety of awards including the Great Taste Award, and The Crumbs Award 2019 among others.

Since 2017, they have been involved in delivering fresh in date meat to FareShare South West, a charity that helps to feed those who are vulnerable.

How Does A Field And Flower Subscription Work?

There are two ways to get started with a subscription. A popular option is to choose one of the starter boxes. These are great as it still allows you to choose the cuts before placing an order.

Alternatively, you can build your own box, choose from the different cuts of meat, fish, as well as other offers. The good news is that you never have to keep the same delivery as it is highly customisable. There are over 500 different cuts to choose from after all.

The next step is to choose the frequency. It is possible to order a one-off box, but a monthly Field and Flower subscription because it means regular deliveries of quality meat that is not easy to source at the supermarket.

Field and Flower send pre-delivery reminders which is a nice touch before they are sent directly to your door. They are kept in a temperature-controlled box that keeps them fresh for longer.

How Regular Can A Subscription Be?

It is up to the customer. We like that they can deliver every 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks as it means fresh produce all the time.

A monthly box might mean freezing the contents if necessary, which should be fine.

What Are The Benefits of A Field And Flower Subscription?

Convenience is a major factor, but the benefits go way beyond that. A subscription also gets members exclusive access to certain offers. This might be in the form of free cuts, discounts, and even surprise with subsequent orders.

There are also competitions and early access to new cuts. For us, it is the quality of the product that sets it apart. The health benefits of free-range meat alone make it a tempting service.

What Else Do They Sell?

It is also possible to add other items to your order and build a unique subscription box. There are plenty of deli items to choose from (of course - this is a Butchers!) so it’s not all about the Field and Flower meat.

There are several kinds of cheese, wild game, BBQ boxes, sauces and condiments, as well as a variety of meat boxes to choose from.

When Do They Deliver?

Field and Flower deliveries are more flexible than what a typical food subscription service may offer. We were surprised to find out that they can send their products to your door on any day of the week.

This is a nice touch as it is rare for a food delivery like this to work around the customer.

Can You Cancel Anytime?

Yes, this is another benefit of signing up for a subscription. It is easy to pause or stop the orders altogether. This will mean you could miss out on some of the additional benefits that come with being a long time member, but there is no hard sell to try and keep you on board when you do not want to be.

It can all be done via email, with the details on their website and as long as it is done with enough time before the next order is due to dispatch.

Are There Any Field And Flower Offer Codes?

Yes, there are. Beyond the quality cuts and sourced meat, there are some excellent Field and Flower offer codes. We update this section regularly so if you are tempted but not ready to commit, be sure to check back in.
